Sample Project Archive
Online Proctoring Task Force. CATL led a Technology Council task force that examined the possibility of adopting an institutional solution for online proctoring in the spring of 2021. The task force discussed the current state of proctoring at SOU, reviewed current reporting on proctoring, and surveyed faculty regarding their assessment practices and views on external proctoring.
LMS Review. SOU’s contract with Moodlerooms, our Learning Management System (LMS) hosting service, expired in 2018. The end of this contract offered the opportunity to explore possibilities for hosting Moodle elsewhere and to review other LMS platforms.
Re-Imagining the First Year (RFY). Sponsored by AASCU and the Gates Foundation from 2016-2018 and aimed at ensuring success for all students, particularly those who have historically been underserved by higher education: low income, first generation, and students of color.
Exploring ePortfolios. An ePortfolio Task Force was formed in the spring of 2014 to conduct a consultative process for systematically exploring the potential role of ePortfolios in teaching, learning, and assessment at SOU.
Growing Online Enrollments. After a Fall 2014 retreat focused on strategies to increase enrollments, the Provost asked the Center for Instructional Support Director and staff to develop a report focused on growing online enrollments.
